This range of yarn was created with the Irish hedgerows in mind. There are seven different colorways to choose from, both in worsted and sport weight - each one focusing on one aspect of the hedgerow and telling its own, unique color story.
The hedgerows of Ireland can be found across the length and breadth of the island and are the heartbeat of the Irish countryside. They are filled with beauty and color. They support a myriad of life - both flora and fauna. In this collection we have focused on the purple of the heather, the burnt orange of the ferns, the green of the shoots, grass and leaves and the blue of the rivers and streams meandering through.

A range of 100% Irish yarn inspired by the hedgerows of the Emerald Isle. Available in seven colorways and in both sport and worsted weight, this range will give any project a taste of Ireland.
All of the yarns in our Classic Collections are hand-dyed. Each of the colorways has been inspired by the environment.
In each collection of yarn, we have endeavored to capture the essence of the Irish countryside.
All our yarns are as close to their natural state as possible, so you may find some small bits of hedgerow in your yarn.
This is just a small piece of Ireland that has found it's way to you.
Just like the sheep this wool is sourced from, every hank is slightly different. Even wool dyed in the same color family will have stronger and lighter hues of the shade coming through.
They are truly all one of a kind!
The fleece is washed using a natural fermentation method used by generations of Irish yarn producers. This ensures that no harmful chemicals are used. All the washing is done by hand and the wool is dried in the shed on the farm.
Our yarns are supported by beautiful knitwear patterns designed exclusively for Yarn Vibes by Irish designers, including Ailbíona McLochlainn and Colin Burke.
